Just a reminder about Tweetup Tuesday at Biggies this coming Tuesday (25th) at 5.30pm. Hope you see you there for another great Happy Hour.

Our Alderman and Neighborhood Improvement Specialist will be there too so if you want to discuss any neighborhood issues in a social environment, this is a great opportunity to do it! Or, if you just want to join us for some food and a great chat and want to meet new people, come and join us!

All are welcome, and we hope to see you there!

Rich Sykora the problem properties attorney for the 23rd Ward will be the guest speaker.
The topic will be nuisance property progress in general as well as open question and answer period.
Also in attendance will be two police officers that work the nuisance properties in our ward.
As well as our NSO and myself.
Also Greg Daly Collector of Revenue will be there to answer tax sale or other questions
This should be a great opportunity for folks to ask what is a nuisance property and how do I report a nuisance property. What should I inspect from the police as far as response time to noise ordinances as well as what about that vacant property on my block. Although some of the answers may not be what you want to hear I think that maybe we can at least let our voices be heard to the people that can help with these problems
Although this is the Tilles park meeting it is open to the whole ward. It should be a informative meeting that you may want to attend.

February 25 Tuesday night at 7 o’clock at the police officers Association Hall on Hampton.

The next Lindenwood Park Neighborhood General Membership meeting will be held Monday, March 3 at 7:30pm at Union United Methodist Church.  Our featured speaker will be Jarad Upsal from the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse.  He will address the heroin epidemic in our community.

I’ve confirmed the Citizen Patrol training for Wednesday, March 19 from 7 -8 pm.  Justin Johnson will conduct the training.  Interested parties from nearby neighborhoods are welcome to come but I do need a head count so they need to contact me if they are interested.

I’m soliciting membership for the new problem properties committee which the LPNA Board is forming. Feel free to let me know if you have any likely members you would like to nominate for the committee.

I’ve attached the 2014 LPNA Meetings and Activities calendar.  Please check out our new website at:  www.lindenwoodpark.org.
