Come and join us for June’s Tweetup on Tuesday June 24th at Aya Sofia!

Have you attended a Tweetup yet?  Do you know what a Tweetup is?  It is a very informal, very social, fun gathering held during “happy hour” at our local restaurants/bars.  We want to support our local businesses (because they support our functions) and so we get to organize a time and place for our neighborhood to meet up and get to know each other.  Friends have been made, business contacts secured and some neighborhood issues brought to light with our Alderman and NSO (who attend all Tweetups).

Our next Tweetup will be held at:

Venue:                 Aya Sofia (6671 Chippewa – opposite Ted Drewes)

Date:                    June 24, 2014

Time:                    5.30pm – 7.30pm

Here is the link to their menu : http://www.ayasofiacuisine.com/new/menulunch.html (Turkish / Mediterranean food)

Come and join us and get to know some other people in our neighborhood.  Bring friends, colleagues and family.  You’ll have a wonderful time!

Hope to see you there!

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Tomorrow, June 18th, President Reed will host the last in a two month long public engagement process focused on documenting citizen feedback on the proposed 2014 General Obligation Bond Issue. This G.O. Bond will make available some $200m for citywide capital improvements and have an impact on the city’s ability to deliver basic services over the next 10 years.

This Bond Issue will be presented to the Ways & Means Committee of the Board of Aldermen, with the final ballot language to be decided on in the coming months. Residents will most likely vote on this bond issue in November.

Join us at 6:30p at the Central Library (1301 Olive) in the main auditorium. Please share and please attend!

** You can also leave feedback on the Bond Issue proposal online at www.PropelSTL.org **
