The City of St. Louis Refuse Division would like to remind residents that the trash/recycling collection schedule for roll carts will be adjusted to accommodate New Year’s Day observance on Friday, January 1, 2016.

 

Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Mondays and Thursdays, collection will be changed to Monday, December 28th and Wednesday, December 30th.

 

Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Tuesdays and Fridays, collection will be changed to Tuesday, December 29th and Thursday, December 31st.

 

The yard waste collection regularly scheduled for roll carts on Wednesday, December 30th is canceled due to the holiday changes.  It will resume on its regular schedule, Wednesday, January 6, 2016.

 

The last yard waste collection for roll carts will be made on January 13, 2016 and will resume on March 2, 2016. Roll cart customers may bag their yard waste and contact the Citizen’s Service Bureau to request a collection during this time (314/622-4800).

SUMMARY: VICTIM SAID SHE HAD AN ARGUEMENT WITH HER BOYFRIEND REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF TIME HE SPENDS WORKING ON HIS CAR. THE SUSPECT THREW A SIZE 9 TIMBERLAND BOOT AT THE VICTIM STRIKING HER IN THE FACE. THE SUSPECT THEN BROKE THE VICTIMS CELL PHONE WHEN SHE TRIED TO CONTACT 911 AND SLAPPED HER IN THE FACE WITH AN OPEN HAND. THERE WERE NO VISIBLE INJURIES AND THE VICTIM REFUSED MEDICAL ATTENTION. SUSPECT LEFT BEFORE OFFICERS ARRIVED. SUSPECT ENTERED AS WANTED FOR ABOVE CHARGES.

SUMMARY: VICTIM AWOKE TO FIND A BULLET HOLE THROUGH THE WINDOWN OF HIS SECOND FLOOR APARTMENT. THE ROUND WAS LODGED IN THE WALL JUST BEYOND THE VICTIMS BED. THE PROJECTILES WERE RECOVERED FROM THE WALL AND SEIZED BY ETU.
 
 
ARREST: RELATIVE TO A CALL FOR SUSPICOUS PERSON, OFFICERS CONDUCTED A PEDESTRIAN CHECK OF THE SUBJECT IN THE 50XX BLOCK OF MURDOCH AFTER OBSERVING HIM CONCEALING SOMETHING IN HIS WAISTBAND. A SERACH OF THE SUBJECT REVEALED HE WS CONCEALING A LARGE HUNTING KNIFE. A COMPUTER CHECK ALSO REVEALED THE SUSPECT TO HAVE FELONY AND MISDEMEANOR DRUG WARRANTS. THE SUBJECT WAS BOOKED AND CHARGED.
 
 
ARREST: OFFICERS CONDUCTED A TRAFFIC STOP IN THE 54XX BLOCK OF NEOSHO AND ARRESTED A SUBJECT RELATIVE TO MISDEMEANOR WARRANTS IN ST. LOUIS COUNTY.

VICTIM BEGAN CHECKING HER WINDOWS AND OBSERVED THE WINDOW LATCHES ON THE BEDROOM WINDOW BROKEN AND THE WINDOW PARTIALLY OPEN. VICTIM SAID NOTHING WAS MISSING FROM HER RESIDENCE.

CHARLES COUNTY THAT FOLLOWING AN OVERNIGHT CRIME SPREE, A W/M, 28 WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY OCCUPYING A STOLEN VEHICLE, IN POSSESSION OF NARCOTICS AND HAVING DAMAGED PROPERTY TAKEN IN THE THEFTS. DURING HIS INTERVIEW HE ADMITTED DAMAGING AN AUTOMATED CAR WASH MACHINE IN AN ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN MONEY. LATER IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE ABOVE LOCATION WAS ONE OF THE CRIME SCENES. SUBJECT IS CURRENTLY IN CUSTODY IN ST. CHARLES COUNTY.

SUMMARY: VICTIM SAID SHE WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND SHE WAS HAVING HER VEHICLE TOWED FROM HER RESIDENCE TO AN AUTO BODY LOT. VICTIM SAID SHE NOTIFIED THE TOW COMPANY THAT SHE WOULD LEAVE A KEY TO THE VEHICLE IN THE GLOVE BOX AND LEAVE THE VEHICLE UNLOCKED. LATER SHE REALIZED THAT SHE HAD A LOADED FIREARM AND CLIP INSIDE THE VEHICLE. WHEN SHE WENT TO RETRIEVE THESE ITEMS THE VEHICLE HAD ALREADY BEEN TOWED. THE TOW COMPANY WAS CONTACTED AND THE DRIVER OF THE TOW ADVISED THAT THE GLOVE BOX WAS ALREADY OPEN WHEN HE OPENED THE DOOR TO RETRIEVE THE KEY.
