SUMMARY: WITNESS SAID SHE IS HOUSESITTING FOR THE OWNER WHILE HE IS OUT OF TOWN FOR SIX MONTHS. ON 5/19 SHE WITH THE OWNER LOCKED AND SECURED THE PROPERTY. ON 5/27 SHE RETURNED AND NOTICED A FLAT SCREEN TELEVISION MISSING. WITNESS SAID THERE ARE NO SIGNS OF FORCED ENTRY ON THE PROPERTY.

LATER IN THE EVENING SHE LOST CONSCIOUSNESS. UPON AWAKENING, THE VICTIM LEARNED SHE HAD BEEN SEXUALLY ASSAULTED. SHE RESPONDED TO SLU FOR AN EXAMINATION. SEX CRIMES DETECTIVES CONDUCTING FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

UPDATE: LATER THIS DATE OFFICERS ARRESTED THE SUBJECT IN THE 60XX BLOCK OF PERNOD.

SUMMARY: DISTRICT OFFICERS RECEIVED A CALL FOR LARCENY THAT JUST OCCURRED IN THE 5700 BLOCK OF SUTHERLAND. THE CALLER STATED HE OBSERVED AN UNKNOWN HISPANIC MALE TAKE HIS LAWN MOWER FROM HIS GARAGE. THE SUBJECT PLACED THE MOWER INTO A WHITE ECONOLINE VAN AND FLED THE AREA. A SHORT TIME LATER OFFICERS STOPPED THE SUBJECT IN THE 6200 BLOCK OF S. KINGSHIGHWAY. THE VICTIM RESPONDED AND POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED THE SUBJECT WHO ENTERED HIS GARAGE AND STOLE HIS MOWER. SUBJECT WAS BOOKED ACCORDINGLY.

Head’s up! It’s nearly time for May’s Tweetup! This month it will be held at Pietro’s Restaurant (3801 Watson). Pietro’s has been a great establishment in our neighborhood since 1960. Come and join us on the patio for a great happy hour.

Come and meet our Alderman and Neighborhood Improvement Specialist and make some new friends too. Tweetup’s are totally informal with no agenda. It’s just an opportunity for neighbors to meet new people and experience a local restaurant that they love or have never been to before.

Veteran blues guitarist, Rich McDonough, has teamed up with singer/songwriter, Laura Green, a seasoned vocalist, new to the St. Louis blues scene. The Green McDonough Band performs a dynamic mix of originals and their own reworking of classic blues. Their music is inspired by the great artists of the past as well as contemporary blues artists, such as Big Mama Thornton, Elmore James, Howlin’ Wolf, Little Walter, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi, Lou Ann Barton and others.

June 6 General Membership Meeting

Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association (LPNA) general membership meeting

7:30 – 9:00pm

All general meetings are held in the auditorium in the lower level of Union United Methodist Church at the corner of Watson and Pernod.

Our city representatives will be there, as well as a public information officer from the police department, and neighborhood board members. Sometimes local and state representatives also attend to speak with the public and hear from them.

The Tilles Park Neighborhood Association has a few events coming up and we would like everyone to join us!

Please mark your calendars for next Saturday May 21st as we screen “An American Tale” at the park! Join us at sunset. It will be a great family event!

SUMMARY: NEIGHBORS AND THE VICTIM OBSERVED THE SUSPECT FIRE A WEAPON INTO THE GROUND. HE WAS VERY INTOXICATED AND YELLING AT NEIGHBORS. TWO SUBJECTS WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY. A .22 CAL. PISTOL WAS RECOVERED AT THE SCENE.

The Tilles Park Neighborhood Association has a few events coming up and we would like everyone to join us!

Please mark your calendars for next Saturday May 21st as we screen “An American Tale” at the park! Join us at sunset. It will be a great family event!

Next on Tuesday May 24th we will have our general meeting. This meeting will be held in the park starting at 6:00 p. m. Following the meeting we will be kicking off our summer of  music in the Park with our first concert featuring Steve Shaw & Cottonwood Gunners.

Head’s up! It’s nearly time for May’s Tweetup! This month it will be held at Pietro’s Restaurant (3801 Watson). Pietro’s has been a great establishment in our neighborhood since 1960. Come and join us on the patio for a great happy hour.
