LinFest 2016!

The Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association is, once again, hosting LinFest – our Fall Festival!

LinFest 2016 will take place on Saturday October 1st in Lindenwood Park from 11am – 4pm.

The LPNA is delighted to host LinFest, our Fall Festival in the park. There will be participation from many local restaurants, local businesses, arts and crafts and fun events provided by local churches and Machacek Library, as well as a bounce house, a slide, balloon artist, bubble machine, wandering magician, a band, performances from GSA’s choir, band and orchestra, and much more! We will also have a yoga demonstration so bring your yoga mat and join in the class.

At 1.15pm we will have a FREE bike parade, so bring your kids, let them decorate their bikes and join a short parade around the park. FREE safety checks before the parade and giveaways! ALL welcome (it’s not JUST for kids)!

We will also have a classic car club displaying their classic cars, a firetruck, the safe house that you can go into and the Black Mariah!

LPNA Block Captain Program

The next block captain meeting is October 5, 7-8pm at Timothy Lutheran Church.

Did you know the Lindenwood Park Neighborhood Association has a Block Captain Program?  A Block Captain Program is a proven approach to maintaining and improving neighborhoods.  Block Captains promote a sense of welcome for new residents, help connect neighbors to city services and provide a vital communication link to neighbors, the Neighborhood Association, the Alderman and city government in general.  A list of current Block Captains is provided below.  We need your help in reaching our goal – a Block Captain on every block in our neighborhood.

If you think you might be interested in becoming a Block Captain, please email janet@lindenwoodpark.org.  She will contact you to provide further information and answer any questions you might have.

Find out more about the Lindenwood Neighborhood Association and south St. Louis on our website.
