Join us for an open house on Sunday, January 22, 2017, to learn more about Word of Life Lutheran school from 1 – 3 p.m.

Word of Life is a prek 3 – grade 8 school and all campuses will be open for tours. The Timothy Lutheran preschool campus is located at 6704 Fyler, the St. Lucas Lutheran preschool campus is located at 7100 Morganford, and the kindergarten through eighth grade campus (Ascension Lutheran) is located at 6535 Eichelberger.

Teachers and staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. We hope you can join us for an informational afternoon!

The City of St. Louis Refuse Division would like to remind residents that the trash/recycling collection schedule for roll carts will be adjusted to accommodate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance on Monday, January 16, 2017

 

Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Mondays and Thursdays, collection will be changed to Tuesday, January 17th and Thursday, January 19th.

 

Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Tuesdays and Fridays, collection will be changed to Wednesday, January 18th and Friday, January 20th.

 

The yard waste collection regularly scheduled for roll carts on Wednesday, January 18th is canceled due to the holiday changes.  It will resume on its regular schedule, Wednesday, January 25, 2017.

Roll-Carts:  The last day for roll carts yard waste collection is Wednesday, January 25, 2017.  Roll carts yard waste collection will resume on Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

 

Alley Yard Waste Dumpsters:  The last days for weekly alley yard waste collection are Thursday and Friday, January 26 and 27, 2017.  Yard waste in dumpsters will be collected monthly during the scheduled Bulk Pick-up week during winter months.  Weekly alley yard waste collection will resume on Thursday, March 16, 2017.

Northampton Crime Report for the Week of December 26th



12/26/16 (34xx block of S. Kingshighway) Larceny: Officers received a call for a “Larceny” at Uncle Bill`s Pancake House. Victim, an employee of the restaurant, who stated she was standing at the cash register, near the entrance to the restaurant when at approximately 11:45 pm, a black male, wearing a brown or tan coat and dark jeans entered the restaurant and stole a purse lying near the cash register and ran out last seen north on Lawn.

 
 
12/28/16 (36xx block of S. Kingshighway) Internal Theft: Reporting party advised officers that the Assistant Manager for the store failed to make four deposits of the store`s funds through the night box deposit system, investigation ongoing.

 
 
12/29/16 (34xx block of S. Kingshighway) Car Clouting: Victim parked his vehicle on the Uncle Bill’s parking lot and went inside to eat. When he returned he observed his passenger door lock damaged and several items stolen from inside.


12/29/16 (35xx block of Regal) Fraud: Victim reported he received a “Target” credit card in the mail on December 23rd, 2016 with his name on it, but he did not request a credit card from the company. He returned the card to Target to have it destroyed and the account closed. 


12/30/16 (49xx block of Chippewa) Larceny:  Victim reported two money orders in the amount of 200 US Dollars, and 300 US Dollars were stolen from his kitchen table.


12/30/16 (49xx block of Pernod) Larceny: Victim reported person(s) unknown entered his vehicle through a previously damaged door and stole two duffle bags belonging to the victim.


12/31/16 (32xx block of Regal) Larceny:  Victim reported he had left his vehicle secured in front of his residence. When he returned on the evening of 12/31/2016 at around 5:30 p.m. he found the front drivers side door`s lock punched out. Upon entering his vehicle he observed several items had been stolen from the vehicle including, an in-dash dvd player, a galaxy tablet, his center console, as well as his wallet and its contents including his social security card.

Southampton Crime Report for the Week of December 26th

 

 


12/29/16 (68xx block of Bradley) Larceny: Victim reported (3) rings stolen from her bedroom chest. Victim believes this occurred while hosting a holiday party on 12/26.



Arrest: Officers conducted a vehicle stop near Wabash/Lindenwood relative to a call for “Suspicious Occupants of an Auto.” Suspected marijuana was located in plain view inside the vehicle. Subject booked accordingly.



12/30/16 (60xx block of Hartford) VMCSL/Arrest: Relative to a call at this location for an assault that had occurred, a male and female taken into custody at this location and charged as indicated above.

 

 

12/31/16 (66xx block of Winona) Subject hosting party at this location was issued a City Court Summons after repeated calls to this location for loud noise.

 

 

12/31/16 (68xx block of Lindenwood) Assault 3rd: Former female roommate at this location was placed as wanted for the above charge after becoming involved in a physical altercation and scratching the victims vehicle.

 

 

12/31/16 (60xx block of Marquette) Attempt Stolen Auto: Victim reported person(s) unknown attempted to steal her vehicle while it was parked on the street at the above address.  She stated that the steering column was ripped out, the ignition lock was punched, and the passenger door lock was punched.  Victim further stated that two CDs were stolen from the vehicle.



12/31/16 (72xx block of Lansdowne) Destruction of Property: Reporting party, an employee with St. Louis County Health Department, said he discovered the electric receptacle protective box broken on the power circuit connected to their Barometer. In addition to the box broken, he observed a cellular phone charging cord connected.



12/31/16 (32xx block of Hampton) Larceny: Gas drive-off.



12/31/16 (64xx block of Oleatha) Larceny: Victim reported license plate stolen from vehicle.
