Southampton Court Advocacy Team,

 

Relative to the neighborhood crime report entry below from 4/17,  I am asking for anyone to please step up and prepare an Court Impact Statement involving the defendant who was apprehended by officers a short time after the incident. I cannot stress enough how important these letters/signatures are when entered into court. Let’s show that crimes such as these will not be tolerated in the Southampton neighborhood. The defendant is currently confined at the St. Louis Justice Center on a$200,000.00 (cash only bond)
 If anyone needs a sample letter to guide you please let me know and I will email you a copy. I would like to have a letter(s) prepared and approved before the general membership meeting on May 10th so we can garner signatures. Below is the information you’ll need for the header of your letter:

4/18/17 @ 2345 (Devonshire/Macklind) Robbery 1st: 
The victim was robbed at gun point while leaving a local restaurant/bar. The suspect fired one shot into the air as he ran off with the victim’s purse. With the assistance of the helicopter and Canine, he was spotted and a foot pursuit followed ending with the suspect being extracted from under a rear porch without incident. The gun was recovered. The suspect and the gun were identified by the victim; however, the purse was not recovered.

Southampton Crime Report for the Week of April 17th

 

4/18/17 @ 1645-1720 (57xx block of Itaska) Larceny:  Victim reported he was doing some yard work in his back yard using his Troy built tiller.  After completing the job, he left the tiller in his back yard and ran a few errands.  When the victim returned later that day he found that the gate to his back yard fence had been opened and the tiller was missing.

Lindenwood Crime Report for the Week of April 17th

 

 

4/21/17 @ 1239 (42xx block of Watson) Fraud: Victim reported person(s) unknown had stolen her identity and personal information using unknown means, and used it to fraudulently open multiple lines of credit without her knowledge or consent.



4/21/17 @ 1420 (64xx block of Chippewa) Larceny: Assistant Manager reported during 3/3/17 – 4/10/17 several phones were removed from a locked storage case in the inventory room. Assistant Manager advised me only employees have access to the locked storage case. Investigation ongoing.
